Georgina from From The Larder came to us with a brand that had served her well for years but was ready for an evolution. Her existing logo, created seven years ago, was originally designed to complement her market stall business selling homemade cakes, preserves, and spice blends. While it worked beautifully in that context, the round design had always been challenging to integrate seamlessly with her website. Through the combination of our branding intensive and Crafted semi-custom web design services, we worked with her to elevate her blog’s visual identity to better reflect Georgina’s expertise and unique niche!

This is a series of posts to show off our amazing clients and the projects we have been able to work on with them. You can check out all of the client launches here.
Custom brand design for food blog: From The Larder

Project details: Brand Strategy & Logo Design | Crafted Semi-Custom Website Design | Digital Product Strategy & Design
As her business naturally shifted after having twins, with her market stall on indefinite hiatus, Georgina recognized it was time for her online presence to take center stage. The self-created color scheme she’d been using as a “placeholder” never quite felt right – the orange had compliance issues, the gold wasn’t pulling its weight, and the green felt too dark and oppressive.
Through our branding intensive service, we tackled these challenges head-on, creating a cohesive visual identity that honored the traditional British recipes at the heart of her blog while introducing a more modern, web-friendly approach. We developed a color palette with the deep, rich, cozy feel she was looking for while ensuring everything met accessibility standards.
The new logo design beautifully bridges the gap between traditional and modern – perfectly representing Georgina’s classic British recipes with a contemporary twist.

In addition to new branding, we helped Georgina update her blog through our semi-custom web design process, designing and building custom blocks, patterns and core pages optimized for better SEO and engagement. With the combination of the branding intensive and semi-custom web design we were able to add so many custom elements throughout her site, elevating it’s design and functionality as a reliable and professional resource for her audience.

What makes this project special is how it represents the natural evolution of a food blog as life circumstances change. By refining her niche and updating her visual identity, Georgina can now welcome first-time visitors with a cohesive brand and website experience that instantly communicates the essence of From The Larder.
The transformation has given Georgina renewed confidence in her brand and website, allowing her to focus on creating the delicious, traditional recipes her audience loves without worrying about design limitations. We’re thrilled to see her step into this new chapter with a brand that truly represents who she is today!
